WITH OLD SCHOOL RAP STAR VANILLA ICE.....
What up ninjas. Just last night(01/02/03) I was
fortunate to chill with the IceMan himself Rob Van
Winkle aka VANILLA ICE! Now before I give you my
interview with him lemme just tell you that He along
with his Drummer Chris aka Hitman & DJ Don't Play, put
on one of the best Live shows I've ever witnessed.
Just Pure Adrenaline transformed into Music. Well,
here goes-
HODGE>- Now last time I chilled backstage with you in
Sept, you told me about an upcoming track you were
planning with INSANE CLOWN POSSE called "the Ninja Rap
remix". When can the JUGGALOS expect to hear this and
what will it be on?
VANILLA ICE I'M GONNA HAVE ABOUT A MONTH OFF OF TOURING
HERE SOON, AND I'M PLANNING TO HIT UP THE STUDIO WITH
ICP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! I FUCKIN CAN'T WAIT CAUSE
THOSE GUYS ARE LIKE FAMILY TO ME FORREAL! AS FOR THE
SONG, IT WILL FIRST BE AVAILABLE ON MY WEBSITE

HODGE>- Now, seing as how you're hittin up the studio
again, is there already a new V-ICE album in the
works?
VANILLA ICE ACTUALLY YEAH I'VE BEGUN WORK ON IT ALREADY.
IN FACT I JUST RECORDED A SOUL ASSASIANS TRACK WITH
CYPRESS HILLS "DJ MUGGS" FOR MY NEW ALBUM!
HODGE>- Your last album "Bi-Polar(feat
ICP,Vampiro,etc)" was like 50/50 Rock-Rap. What will
your new album sound like?
VANILLA ICE WELL, I'VE GOTTEN ALOT OF FEEDBACK ON MY
"BI-POLAR" ALBUM AND I THINK IMMA HAVE A MORE HIP HOP
FEEL THIS TIME.
HODGE>- Any speculations on guests?
VANILLA ICE YEAH A TON OF EM. NOTHING IS CONCRETE YET,
BUT LOOK FOR SUCH ARTISTS AS ICP(of course), BUSTA
RHYMES, SPLIFF STAR, LA THE DARKMAN(WU-TANG), CYPRESS
HILL, DJ MUGGS, REDMAN & METHOD MAN, KORN & MARZ,
CHUCK D, AND MORE.
HODGE>- Speaking of BUSTA Rhymes, didn't you just do a
huge radio show with Busta, Camron, etc?
VANILLA ICE YEAH MAN, THE NEW YORK SHOW. THATS SHOW WAS
AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE! THE CROWD WAS SOO RECEPTIVE
TO ME MAN. MY HIGHLIGHT OF THAT EVENING WAS WHEN I
LOOKED DOWN AT THE FRONT ROW AND SAW BUSTA RHYMES
CHEERING ME ON! HE WAS FEELIN MY NEW SHIT. IN FACT
HE CALLED ME ON X-MAS ABOUT DOING A TRACK ON MY NEW
ALBUM!
HODGE>- Any album title yet?
VANILLA ICE NOT YET, BUT "BLOOD $" HAS COME UP A FEW
TIMES.
HODGE>- Rumor has it that the night after you did that
NY radio show, you drove to Buffalo NY to chill with
ICP at thier show?
VANILLA ICE HELL YEAH, THOSE GUYS ARE THE FUCKIN SHIT! I
SHOWED UP AND CHILLED WITH A BUNCH OF DOWN ASS
JUGGALOS. THEN AT THE END OF THE SHOW I GOT ON STAGE
WITH ICP AND DID A FREESTYLE RAP WITH VIOLENT J. WOO
WOOO!!!
HODGE>- I just rented a new dvd called "The NEW GUY"
the other day and noticed a familiar face playing the
role of the Record Store owner. Props on that.
VANILLA ICE YEAH, SUPRISINGLY ALOT OF PEOPLE RECOGNIZED MY
CAMIO ROLE IN THAT FILM.
HODGE>- Speaking of Movie roles and shit, any films or
T.V. appearences in the works?
VANILLA ICE I HAVE A FEW T.V. SPOTS IN THE WORKS. I'M
GONNA BE IN THE CORNER OF TANK ABBOTT AT THE UPCOMING
UFC PPV FROM THE TAJ MAHAL AT THE END OF MARCH. OH
YEAH, I'M ALSO GONNA BE ON THE CELEBRITY EDITION OF
THE SHOW "SURVIVOR" FROM AUSTRAILIA(WITH A MOUTH FULL
OF COCKROACHES, LOL).
HODGE>- How about Psychopathics future film(whenever
that may be) "Big Money Rustlas"? Are you gonna
appear in that at all?
VANILLA ICE AH HELL YEAH!
HODGE>- What were you're thoughts from The GATHERING
OF THE JUGGALOS 01?
VANILLA ICE FUCKIN AWESOME!!! I GOT MAD LUV FOR JUGGALOS!
THEY ARE SOME OF THE MOST DEDICATED FANS I'VE EVER
WITNESSED!
HODGE>- Now word around campfire is that rapper Bubba
Sparxxx approached you at a show this past summer.
What went down with that?
VANILLA ICE WELL, FIRST HE CAME UP TO ME WITH PRAISE FOR
MY CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE GAME AND ALL. THEN OUTTA THE
BLUE I ASKED HIM ABOUT ICP. HE TOLD ME HOW HE HATES
THEM AND THEY DISSED THE HELL OUTTA HIM. I THEN GOT
REALLY SERIOUS AND TOLD BUBBA HOW THEY ARE FAMILY TO
ME AND HE NEEDS TO WATCH WHAT HE SAYS. HE WAS LIKE
"OH YEAH, I FORGOT YOU GUYS WERE TIGHT" AND THEN
DIDN'T SPEAK ANYMORE FOUL THOUGHTS ON THE CLOWNS.
HODGE>- Anything else you wanna tell your fans about
before we jet?
VANILLA ICE JUST A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL JUGGALOS WHO COME
TO MY SHOWS AND SHOW MAD LUV! OH YEAH, AND BE ON THE
LOOKOUT FOR MY NEWEST TOUR STARTING IN FEBUARY! IT'S
NOT GONNA BE MY NORMAL TOUR EITHER. IT'S GONNA HAVE
SEVERAL DOPE "XTREME GAMES" STARS PERFORMING TRICKS
AND SHIT ON THE SPECIAL CONSTRUCTED STAGE WHILE I
PERFORM on stage! AND YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT SURPRISE
NINJAS MIGHT SHOW UP TO ROCK THE MIC. WELL, THANKS
